The music and lyrics of this song were penned by Clarence Carson Parks. Expecially the song duettes of Frank Sinatra with his daughter Nancy or that of many years later of Robbie Williamswith Nicole Kidman were heard around the world. The deeper male voice sings the melody while the higher female voice sings the accompanying upper voice.

Accordingly in this arrangement by Ralf Busse the third voice (tenor / alto) takes on the part of the (lead) male voice and the second voice (alto 2) that of the female voice. The originaly instrumental accompaniment of the song duette by guitar or strings is the basis for the first voice (alto 1/ soprano) in this arranagement while the fourth voice (baritone) takes on the bass line.

The vocal version also contains an instrumental interlude which can be found in the 8 measures at part D.
