In this arrangement of the hard bop hit by Nat Adderley two soloists can have their say. The solo for sax 1 is in section C and D; in C it is written out. Sax 4's solo is in section D. Both soli can be played in either section. you can choose to play both sections or skip them. This means that in the performance the ensemble can choose freely if both sections should be played, skipped or if one of sections should be played. It is also feasible to play a solo together, switching between sax 1 and 4 vocies as a "chase" in section D. In C, saxes 2,3 and 4 can choose to play the backgrounds or be silent.

All eighth notes of this arrangement are to be played as triplets and with swing phrasing; this swing phrasing with the stacatto eighth and sixteenth passages in measures 95 and 96 help maintain this hard bop style.
