Rudolph was the greatest hit of Columbia Label from South Carolina. It made a revenue of 2 mio copies in 1949. The total sales was 8 mio copies. Gene Autriy's official web site says even 12 mio. cpoies. A golden record was record award has been granted November 10th, 1968.
